In order for us to understand what we need to work on as a group to improve our blog and film, we were given some feedback from our teacher. He gave us an E grade as we did not post our 2 minute footage yet since it was still being edited at the time.
This is what he said about our group blog and film:

At the moment, based on what I’ve seen, you can only score a BASIC level because you have not finished. It must be finished on April 13th! The final cut.
Your opening so far shows real promise but it must be finished. AS WELL AS THE EVALUATION!
• Producing material appropriate for the target audience and task; YES, YOU HAVE ACHIEVED THIS, THE THRILLERISH/GANGSTER FEEL OF THE FILM IS EFFECTIVE.
• using titles appropriately according to institutional conventions;
THIS MUST BE SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED, DEVELOPED
• using sound with images and editing appropriately for the task set;
YOUR USE OF SOUND IS GOOD BUT IT MUST BE DEVELOPED SO THAT THE DIALOGUE IS IMPROVED
• shooting material appropriate to the task set;, including controlled use of the camera, attention to framing, variety of shot distance and close attention to mise-en-scene;
YOU HAVE USED A VARIETY OF CAMERA SHOTS, WITH A CONTROLLED USE OF CAMERA SHOWN, A VARIETY OF SHOT DISTANCE HAS BEEN SHOWN. BUT MORE NEEDS TO BE DONE WITH REGARDS TO LIGHTING ETC.
• using editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer and making selective and appropriate use of shot transitions and other effects.
YOUR EDITING IS FAST-PACED AND APPROPRIATE BUT OBVIOUSLY YOU MUST FINISH YOUR FILM. MAKE SURE ALL ROUGH EDGES ARE SMOOTHED OUT.
